Upon delivery, you must check the integrity of the package by ensuring:

  • before opening, that the package is properly closed (only one piece of tape used) as well as the general condition of the package
  • after opening (done in the presence of the delivery person in case of doubt), that all the products are present in the package and in good condition

The recipient is authorized to request, before taking delivery, both an internal and external inspection of the package.

In the event of a problem, it is imperative that you send us as many photos of the package as possible (exterior (with the shipping label visible) + interior + goods) so that we can file a complaint with the delivery services and receive compensation for the damage suffered.

Unfortunately without ALL of these photos, we are unable to compensate you.

We cannot be held responsible for products damaged by high heat.

Choosing the right shipping costs

First of all, be careful to apply the shipping costs of the DESTINATION country!

Choosing the wrong shipping cost may result in you having to reorder your entire order!

This is a huge waste of time for you and for us...

Shipping costs depend on the total GROSS weight or the total amount of your order and are calculated automatically in the shopping cart before the payment process.

ATTENTION! The GROSS weight corresponds to the weight of the contents and the container of the product (e.g.: 1 600g pot of spreadable chocolate actually weighs +/- 950g with the glass pot)

  • Delivery times are working days, excluding public holidays and weekends and do not include order preparation time (48 to 72 hours if all products in stock).
  • The deadlines are indicative and not contractual.
  • The Seller shall not be liable for any loss, cost, liability, damage, fine or expense incurred as a result of any delay or non-delivery.
  • When your package is shipped, you will receive an email from the carrier that contains the online tracking code.
  • Any possible customs charges when shipping to countries outside the European Union are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • The seller delivers to its customers within 5 to 15 days from payment of the order and depending on the chosen carrier. These deadlines are given for information purposes only and are therefore not binding on the seller.
  • If after a period of 30 days the customer has not received a delivery, the customer may request the cancellation of the sale and the reimbursement of the sums paid for his order.

  • For your goods in the "Fresh Products" category, your order will be shipped ONLY via DPD FRESH / CHRONOFRESH for Metropolitan France, Monaco, Spain and via DPD Fresh for Belgium and Luxembourg. You will not have the choice of another carrier.
  • The departure of "fresh" packages is done once a week (generally on Wednesday) with delivery expected within 72 hours for certain regions and areas that are difficult to access for France, Monaco and Spain and once a week (generally on Wednesday) for Belgium and Luxembourg.
  • DPD FRESH / CHRONOFRESH is only accessible to residents of Metropolitan France (excluding Corsica), Monaco, Spain, Belgium and Luxembourg.

But as you know, sensitive products do not really like heat ... We therefore advise you to choose the services of DPD Fresh (Belgium and Luxembourg) and DPD FRESH / CHRONOPFRESH (Metropolitan France, Monaco and Spain only) in order to guarantee the traceability of the cold chain to your home. We remind you that if your products were to be altered by high temperatures during their delivery and you have not chosen DPD Fresh (Belgium and Luxembourg) or DPD Fresh / ChronoFresh for delivery (Metropolitan France, Monaco and Spain only), Chockies Group SRL cannot be held responsible for any alteration of products.
  • In order to guarantee that your package leaves us the same week, orders must reach us no later than MONDAY before 10 a.m.

Packages destined for the Aquitaine, Midi-Pyrénées, Languedoc-Roussillon and Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur regions as well as certain hard-to-reach areas may require a longer delivery time.

Notice regarding collection points

  • Packages are shipped within the DPD Parcelshop network.
  • When you make your purchase, you will receive an email with the DPD tracking number for your package.
  • The carrier sends an email and/or SMS to indicate that your package has arrived at the collection point (collection point/parcelshop) with the address of the collection point.
  • You then have one week to collect it. If after this period you still have not done so, the package will be returned to us.
  • After this period, we will not send you any replacement and you will then have to pay the delivery costs again to receive your package. Therefore, be careful, be vigilant after sending your package so that you can collect it without delay and without additional costs!
